Gorleston, the southern, largely residential suburb of Great Yarmouth, has enjoyed something of a renaissance in recent years with the High Street seeing the opening of many new businesses, like the William Adams pub, What is Hip, Junx, Bellyboos and Specsavers all forming an eclectic mix. Wj White Florists, opened in 1947, closed in 2016 due to owner retirement and Envision CAD tendered and were accepted for a conversion project.
There were two submitted planning applications (BR01 new build) (HS01 Ex shop). Envision CAD did the initial survey and designed the new build in line with conservation officers comments, doing the same for the shop which was converted it into 2 units. Envision CAD also created approved planning drawings for the conversion and a 2nd floor extension, for both applications.
David worked closely with planning and conservation officers from GYBC to meet their requirements. The shop was converted into two new units and two flats, with the conversion featuring in the local newspaper here.
“Really pleased with the work David meticulously carried out. Would recommend his company to anyone looking for planning drawings.”
