The proposal was to provide two semi-detached houses on the corner of Burnt lane and Addison Road, Gorleston, the site may be accessed both by vehicle, or on foot, from both ends of Burnt Lane. The property is a 5-minute walk from the High Street shops and banks and a main bus route between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Also, in walking distance are local schools and shops.
The proposed exterior will be brickwork, PVUC White frame windows and Clay Neo Roof tiles, keeping in appearance with neighbouring properties.
The work will be built by local tradesman, where possible locally sourced materials which will be highly insulated to conserve energy.
There is provision for off road parking to the front.
The history of the site would indicate that site contamination is unlikely.
Drawings submitted show the design layout and extents of the works.
This has now been fully approved and works will go ahead.
